1. Parties and Scope
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between Tarifi Kolay ("Tarifi Kolay", "we", "platform") and every natural person ("user", "you") who visits or uses tarifikolay.com.
Accessing the site, reading content, registering as a member, or using any feature constitutes your acknowledgment that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept the Terms, we kindly ask that you stop using the site.
These Terms form a whole together with the Privacy Policy, Membership Terms, and the Recipe Submission Guidelines to be published in the future. In the event of a conflict, these Terms shall prevail.
2. Description of Service
Tarifi Kolay is a free, advertising-supported content platform that publishes food recipes, where users can submit and rate recipes, leave comments, and follow one another.
The platform currently offers the following features:
Editorial and user-sourced food recipes
"What Should I Cook?" recipe suggestion tool
"How Many Calories?" information tool
Member profile, recipe submission, and social interaction features
Tarifi Kolay reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue any feature without prior notice. Such actions do not give rise to any right to compensation or refund on the part of the user.
3. Age of Use
You may not use Tarifi Kolay if you are under the age of 13. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you are deemed to have declared that you are accepting these Terms with the knowledge of your parent or legal guardian.
Tarifi Kolay is not obligated to verify the age of users; however, the accounts and associated data of users found to be under the age of 13 will be deleted immediately.
4. Account Creation and Security
You may be required to register as a member to access certain features. By creating a membership, you agree to:
Provide accurate and up-to-date information,
Maintain the confidentiality of your account and the security of your password,
Be responsible for all actions carried out through your account.
If you become aware of unauthorized use of your account, you must immediately notify us at [email protected]. Tarifi Kolay cannot be held responsible for actions that occur before such notification is made.
Only one account may be created per person. In the event that multiple accounts are created, Tarifi Kolay reserves the right to close the additional accounts.
5. User Content
5.1 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the recipes, comments, photos, and other content ("User Content") you submit to the platform. You represent and warrant that the content you share:
Belongs to you or that you have the right to share it,
Does not infringe the copyright, personal rights, or trade secrets of any other person,
Is accurate, safe, and not misleading.
5.2 License Granted to Tarifi Kolay
By submitting content to the platform, without transferring any of your intellectual property rights in that content, you grant Tarifi Kolay the following rights:
A worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable right to publish, reproduce, adapt, display in search results, and use the content for promotional purposes on the platform.
This license remains in effect even if you suspend or delete your account. Submitted recipes and comments may remain on the platform in anonymized form. For more information, please refer to the Membership Terms page.
5.3 Moderation
Tarifi Kolay is not obligated to publish all submitted content. Content may be rejected, edited, or removed in the following circumstances:
It violates these Terms or the Recipe Submission Guidelines
It contains incorrect, misleading, or health-hazardous information
It contains defamation, harassment, or discrimination
It constitutes commercial promotion or spam
It constitutes copyright infringement
Moderation decisions may be made with or without explanation. Users may write to [email protected] to appeal; the final decision rests with Tarifi Kolay.
6. Prohibited Conduct
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
With respect to content:
Sharing content containing hate speech, discrimination, defamation, or threats
Publishing misleading, false, or health-hazardous recipe information
Sharing another person's photos, text, or recipes without permission
Producing content for advertising, promotional, or commercial gain purposes (without Tarifi Kolay's permission)
With respect to technical matters:
Using software, bots, or scripts that could harm the site
Scraping content using automated tools — use of RSS and official API is excluded from this scope
Attempting unauthorized access to user accounts
Sending requests that would create excessive load on the servers
With respect to identity:
Impersonating another user, brand, or real person
Creating multiple accounts or reopening a banned account
The accounts of users who act in violation of these rules may be suspended or permanently closed without warning. Legal action may be taken where necessary.
7. Intellectual Property
The site design, logo, typefaces, color palette, software infrastructure, editorial content, and database structure of Tarifi Kolay belong to Tarifi Kolay and are protected under intellectual property legislation.
Users may access content solely for personal and non-commercial purposes. The following are expressly prohibited:
Publishing Tarifi Kolay content elsewhere without attribution
Using content for commercial purposes or selling it to third parties
Copying or imitating the site design or software
Sharing with attribution and a link (including on social media) is outside the scope of this prohibition.
8. Advertisements and Third-Party Links
Tarifi Kolay displays advertisements through Google AdSense. Advertisements are served by third parties, and Tarifi Kolay is not responsible for their content.
The site may from time to time contain links to third-party websites. Tarifi Kolay cannot be held responsible for the content, privacy policy, or reliability of such sites. Once you click a link and navigate to that site, the terms of the relevant site — not those of Tarifi Kolay — apply.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Tarifi Kolay provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible with every device.
Tarifi Kolay bears no responsibility with respect to the following:
Health, safety, or material damages that may arise from the implementation of recipes published on the platform
The accuracy or reliability of user-generated content
Technical failures, server outages, or data losses
Damages that may be incurred through third-party advertisements and links
Food recipes are provided for informational purposes only. If you have allergies, a chronic illness, or special dietary requirements, we recommend consulting a specialist.
10. Termination of Service
Tarifi Kolay may restrict or terminate any user's access without prior notice in the following circumstances:
Violation of these Terms
Conduct that adversely affects the platform or other users
Long-term inactive accounts (the account holder will be notified by email)
Tarifi Kolay also reserves the right to shut down the platform in its entirety, provided prior announcement is made.
11. Amendments
These Terms may be updated as necessary. Significant changes will be announced by updating the revision date and, where necessary, by sending an email to registered members. Continued use of the platform following a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are subject to Turkish law. İzmir Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
