- 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) powdered sugar

- 2 eggs
- 1.5 water glasses (about 300 ml / 1 1/4 cups) flour
How to Make Tahta Kurabiye (Turkish Butter Cookies)
In a bowl, beat 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) of powdered sugar together with 3 tablespoons of butter (should be at room temperature) and 2 eggs using a hand mixer. Add 1.5 water glasses (about 300 ml / 1 1/4 cups) of flour and beat again. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag with a wide tip and pipe long strips side by side onto a greased baking tray. Then pipe more long strips alongside those, filling the entire tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) until lightly golden. Once baked, let cool and cut randomly into long pieces with a knife.
