Ingredients for Chicken Schnitzel (Tavuk Schnitzel)

  • 3 chicken breasts, pounded
  • 1.5 tea glasses (about 150 ml / 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp) milk
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 dessert spoon (about 1 tsp) salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 water glass (about 100 ml / 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) flour
  • 1/2 water glass (about 100 ml / 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) breadcrumbs

How to Make Chicken Schnitzel (Tavuk Schnitzel)

Soak the 3 pounded chicken breasts in 1.5 tea glasses (about 150 ml / 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp) of milk and let them rest for 10 minutes. Remove the chicken breasts from the milk, then sprinkle and rub in 1 teaspoon of black pepper and 1/2 dessert spoon of salt.

Whisk 3 eggs together in a shallow plate.

Place 1/2 water glass of flour on one plate and 1/2 water glass of breadcrumbs on another. Coat the chicken pieces first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, and fry in hot oil. To serve, place the fries on the bottom of the serving plate, lay the Schnitzel on top, and garnish the sides with greens and tomatoes.
