Ingredients for Pasta Börek (Makarna Böreği)
- Half a package of spaghetti (stick pasta)
- ½ tea glass (about 100 ml / 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 100 g white cheese (similar to feta)
- 2 eggs
- 1 dessert spoon (about 2 tsp) salt
- 1 handful parsley
How to Make Pasta Börek (Makarna Böreği)
Boil half a package of spaghetti and drain. Melt ½ tea glass (about 100 ml / 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) of vegetable oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a pot and add the pasta. Sprinkle 1 dessert spoon (about 2 tsp) of salt, mix everything together, and set aside. Crumble 100 g of white cheese (similar to feta) over the top. Crack in 2 eggs, chop 1 handful of parsley, and fold everything together.
Lightly grease a non-stick pan and, once it is hot, pour in the pasta mixture and press it down firmly with a spatula. Once the bottom is golden and crispy, flip it with the help of a lid and cook the other side as well. Slice like a börek and serve hot. Enjoy!…
