Ingredients for Baked Chicken with Sauce
- 10 small chicken wings
- 10 small chicken drumsticks
- 1 tablespoon yogurt
- 1/2 tablespoon salça (Turkish tomato/pepper paste)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 dessert spoon (about 1 tsp) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
How to Make Baked Chicken with Sauce
Rinse the 10 small chicken wings and 10 small chicken drumsticks, then drain them in a colander.
For the sauce: In a deep bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of yogurt, 1/2 tablespoon of salça (Turkish tomato/pepper paste), and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Add the chicken pieces to the sauce. Sprinkle in 1/2 dessert spoon (about 1 tsp) of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, then toss everything together to coat. Arrange the pieces in a baking tray in a single layer. Drizzle any remaining sauce over the top. Cover with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for half an hour with the top covered. Then remove the parchment paper and continue baking uncovered until golden brown.
