Ingredients for Bruschetta with Sucuk (Turkish Spiced Beef Sausage)

  • 5 slices of bread
  • Vegetable oil
  • 15 slices of sucuk (Turkish spiced beef sausage)
  • 5 half-slices of tomato
  • 5 slices of kaşar cheese (Turkish semi-hard cheese, similar to mild cheddar)
  • Oregano

How to Make Bruschetta with Sucuk (Turkish Spiced Beef Sausage)

Drizzle a little vegetable oil over 5 slices of bread. Place 2–3 slices of sucuk on top of each. Add a half-slice of tomato in the center and sprinkle with oregano. Finally, place a lengthwise-cut slice of kaşar cheese on top and arrange on a parchment-lined baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) until the kaşar cheese melts.

Cooking Tip

You can make this with either stale or fresh bread.
