Ingredients for Biscuit Muhallebi (Turkish Milk Pudding with Biscuits)
- 1 kg (about 2.2 lbs) milk
- 3 tablespoons starch
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) granulated sugar
- Plain biscuits, as needed depending on dish size
- Cocoa powder, for topping
How to Make Biscuit Muhallebi (Turkish Milk Pudding with Biscuits)
In a saucepan, whisk together 1 kg of milk, 3 tablespoons of starch, 2 tablespoons of flour, and 1 water glass of granulated sugar. Then turn on the heat and cook, stirring continuously, until the mixture reaches a pudding consistency. Arrange plain biscuits side by side on the bottom of your serving dish and pour the prepared muhallebi (Turkish milk pudding) over them. Layer another row of biscuits on top and repeat this process 3 times. (You will end up with 3 layers of biscuits and 3 layers of pudding.) Refrigerate until chilled and serve dusted with cocoa powder. Enjoy!
