- 1 carrot
- 2 long green peppers (sivri biber)
- ½ tea glass (about 50 ml / 3 tbsp + 1 tsp) vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste (domates salçası)
- 1 kg (about 2.2 lb) peas
- 1 potato
- ½ dessert spoon (about 1 tsp) salt
- 1 handful dill
How to Make Beef and Pea Stew
Rinse 300 g of cubed beef and cook it in a pot in its own juices. Add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 peeled and diced carrot, and 2 long green peppers, then sauté everything with ½ tea glass (about 50 ml / 3 tbsp + 1 tsp) of vegetable oil. Stir in 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and mix briefly. Add 1 kg of cleaned peas to the pot. Add 1 peeled potato, cut into large cubes. Pour in enough water to just cover everything.
