Beef and Brussels Sprouts Stew

We know not many people are fans of Brussels sprouts. But when cooked with beef, the cabbage smell disappears and it transforms into a wonderfully flavorful stew — we highly recommend giving it a try!

Ingredients for Beef and Brussels Sprouts Stew

  • 200 g beef, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 package Brussels sprouts
  • Half a tea glass (about 50 ml / 3 tbsp + 1 tsp) vegetable oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 long green pepper
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon salça (Turkish tomato/pepper paste)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

How to Make Beef and Brussels Sprouts Stew

We rinse 200 g of bite-sized beef cubes and cook them over low heat in their own juices until the liquid evaporates. We then add half a tea glass (about 50 ml / 3 tbsp + 1 tsp) of vegetable oil, 1 onion diced for cooking, and 1 long green pepper and 2 red bell peppers cut into julienne strips, and sauté everything together. We add 1 tomato cut into cubes, 2 chopped garlic cloves, and 1 tablespoon of salça (Turkish tomato/pepper paste) and stir for a little while. We add 1 package of rinsed Brussels sprouts, mix everything together, then add water until it just covers the ingredients. We season with salt and black pepper and cook over low heat until the Brussels sprouts are tender. Enjoy!…
