Ingredients for Carrot Cinnamon Cake
- 2 large carrots
- 3 eggs
- 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) granulated sugar
- 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) vegetable oil
- 2 water glasses (about 400 ml / 1 3/4 cups) flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons crushed walnuts
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
How to Make Carrot Cinnamon Cake
In a bowl, whisk 3 eggs together with 1 water glass of granulated sugar, then add 1 water glass of vegetable oil, 2 water glasses of flour, and 1 packet of baking powder and whisk again.
In a pan, sauté 2 large grated carrots with 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the sautéed mixture into the bowl with the whisked ingredients. Add 3 tablespoons of crushed walnuts and 3 teaspoons of cinnamon and whisk everything together again. Pour all the ingredients into a greased cake pan and bake at 180°C (350°F), testing for doneness with a toothpick. Enjoy!
