- 1 onion
- 2 long green peppers (sivri biber)
- 500 g (about 1 lb) lamb, cut for sautéing
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 dessert spoon (about 2 tsp) salt
How to Make Sac Tava (Turkish Iron Pan Stir-Fry)
In a sac pan (large iron pan), sauté 1 onion, finely chopped, and 2 long green peppers, roughly chopped, in vegetable oil. Add 500 g (about 1 lb) of diced lamb cut for sautéing and continue to sauté. Slice 2 firm, peeled tomatoes and add them on top. Add 1 dessert spoon (about 2 tsp) of salt, toss everything together, and serve once the meat is cooked through. Enjoy!
