4 Tips to Feel More Energized!
We've put together 4 fantastic tips to help you get out of bed with ease, prevent energy slumps throughout the day, boost your motivation, and feel more energized!

Tip 1: Start your day with an energy-boosting breakfast! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and studies show that people who begin their day with breakfast feel more at ease psychologically. Research has demonstrated that individuals who start their day with a protein-rich breakfast feel fuller throughout the day and have higher motivation levels. With a protein-packed breakfast — including egg whites, cheese, turkey, beef or smoked salmon, low-fat yogurt, or milk — you'll feel more energized during the day. For example, you can opt for a veggie omelet or an oatmeal-based breakfast.

Tip 2: Drink your coffee early in the day! Studies show that high-caffeine beverages like coffee have a temporary stimulating effect on the body and make it easier to focus. By choosing high-caffeine drinks during the early hours of the day, you can sharpen your concentration. However, consuming these stimulating beverages in the afternoon can lower your sleep quality at night, causing you to wake up even more tired the next day. Stick to your high-caffeine drinks in the early morning hours.
Tip 3: Morning cardio will wake you right up! Everyone wants to sleep just five more minutes in the morning — but waking up 15 minutes earlier can actually help you feel more energized! How? Getting up 15 minutes earlier and going for a light-paced walk outdoors or on a treadmill will boost your circulation and clear your mind, helping you focus. Plus, starting your day with exercises that increase blood flow will also encourage your body to burn fat throughout the day.

Tip 4: Water and snacks are non-negotiable! Before you leave the house in the morning, pack water and snacks for your between-meal breaks. Your body is made up of 60% water and you need it throughout the entire day — don't neglect to drink water, the fundamental source of life. Snacks are extremely important for balancing your blood sugar and meeting your body's energy needs between main meals. Carrying snacks that won't cause sudden blood sugar spikes and will curb your hunger will give your body the energy it needs in the moment, keeping your blood sugar stable until your next main meal.
