- 1 kg (about 2 lbs) carrots
- 1 orange
- 1 tea glass of water (about 100 ml / 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp)
- 750 g (about 1 2/3 lbs) granulated sugar
- 1 lemon
How to Make Carrot Jam
Peel and wash 1 kg of carrots, then slice them into rings in a pot. Squeeze the juice of 1 orange, add 1 tea glass of water (about 100 ml / 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp), and boil. Add 750 g of granulated sugar, and when nearly done, squeeze in 1 lemon and boil for an additional 5–10 minutes.
