  • 3 kg (about 6.6 lbs) spinach
  • Freezer bags

How to Make Summer Spinach (Frozen Spinach for Winter Use)

We sort and wash 3 kg of spinach. We chop it into large pieces. We drain it in a colander until all the water is gone. Once drained, we fill it into freezer bags. We press down on top to squeeze out the air. We seal the bags and put them in the freezer. Whenever we want, we can take it out of the freezer and use it without thawing.
