Ingredients for Lavash Chips

  • 2 lavash breads
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g kaşar cheese (Turkish semi-hard cheese, similar to mild cheddar)
  • For the topping:
  • Oregano
  • Nigella seeds
  • Aleppo pepper flakes

How to Make Lavash Chips

Open the 2 lavash breads flat and cut them into long strips about three fingers wide. Then cut these strips into triangle shapes. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush 1 beaten egg over them and evenly distribute 100 g of grated kaşar cheese. Sprinkle a pinch of oregano, nigella seeds, and Aleppo pepper flakes on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) until the lavash pieces are golden and crispy. Enjoy!
