About This Recipe

Green beans are a vegetable grown in every region of our country, also known by names such as Ayşekadın (runner beans), fresh beans, green beans, and çalı fasulyesi (bush beans). We make use of both the seeds and the pods of the bean.

The health benefits of this food are not few. Let's read through some of them together;

*Eating them after poisoning can speed up recovery.
*They help lower blood sugar levels, making them beneficial against diabetes.
*Fresh green beans are quite low in calories. They are among the first foods that come to mind when thinking of diet-friendly meals.
*Because they are high in fiber, they regulate the digestive system and prevent constipation.
*When consumed regularly, they reduce the risk of colon cancer.
*They lower blood cholesterol levels by reducing the reabsorption of cholesterol from the large intestine.
*Fresh beans are rich in flavonoids, which are considered antioxidants, and therefore help reduce the risk of heart attack.
*Because they contain various antioxidants, they both help prevent the onset of disease and strengthen the immune system.
*Fresh beans are a good source of folic acid. As is well known, folic acid is considered extremely important for protecting the baby in the womb.
