Ingredients for Red Pepper and Mushroom Penne

  • 1 package penne pasta
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Half a tea glass (about 50 ml / 3 tbsp) vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 10 button mushrooms
  • Half a dessert spoon (about 1 tsp) salt
  • Half a teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese

How to Make Red Pepper and Mushroom Penne

Boil 1 package of penne pasta and drain.

In a pan, sauté 2 julienned red bell peppers and 2 finely chopped garlic cloves in half a tea glass (about 50 ml / 3 tbsp) of vegetable oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Add 10 button mushrooms, sliced flat. Add half a dessert spoon (about 1 tsp) of salt and half a teaspoon of black pepper. Pour in 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) of heavy cream and bring to a boil for 1-2 minutes, then add the cooked pasta and toss everything together. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
