- 1 dessert spoon (about 2 tsp) butter
- 1 dessert spoon (about 2 tsp) vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 black olive
- Tomato skin
How to Make Smiley Face Eggs (Gülen Yumurta)
Melt 1 dessert spoon of butter and 1 dessert spoon of vegetable oil in a pan. Crack 2 eggs side by side into the pan. Using a spoon, nudge the egg yolks close together. Once cooked, cut 1 pitted black olive in half and place the two halves on top of the egg yolks to make eyes. Shape a strip of tomato skin into a mouth.
