  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 5 tablespoons granulated sugar

How to Make Starch Cookies (Nişastalı Kurabiye)

In a bowl, knead together 400 g wheat starch (2 packets), 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 packet margarine, 1 packet baking powder, and 5 tablespoons granulated sugar. Roll the dough into balls by hand and pinch the center upward to gather it. (This creates a separate small round shape in the middle.) Arrange on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) until the tops turn golden pink. Enjoy! ❤
