Ingredients for Strawberry Roll Cake with Chocolate Sauce and Lady Finger Cookies
- 3 water glasses (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp each) milk
- 1.5 water glasses water
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon starch
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 5 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 package lady finger cookies
- 10 strawberries
- Shredded coconut, for topping
How to Make Strawberry Roll Cake with Chocolate Sauce and Lady Finger Cookies
In a saucepan, whisk together 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) of milk, 1.5 water glasses of water, 1 tablespoon of flour, 1 tablespoon of starch, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, and 5 tablespoons of sugar, and cook until thickened. (You can also use store-bought chocolate sauce.)
Dip 1 package of lady finger cookies one by one into 2 water glasses of milk, then arrange them side by side on a sheet of plastic wrap. (Lay them on the plastic wrap in rows of 10 — 10 facing up and 10 facing down.) Pour the cooled chocolate sauce over the top. Place 10 chopped strawberries on top. Using the plastic wrap to guide you, roll everything into a log shape, making sure the plastic wrap does not get folded inside. After resting in the refrigerator, pour the remaining sauce over the top and serve with shredded coconut. Enjoy!
