Okra is a vegetable that is remarkably rich in fiber, iron, magnesium, and calcium, as well as vitamins A and C. It is known as one of the favorite foods of those who want to eat healthy and stay energized. Experts recommend consuming it at least once a week during the summer months. With its rich mineral content, it both increases the body's fluid levels and provides the vitamins and minerals the body needs. Okra, which belongs to the mallow family, grows in warm climates. In our country, okra is a cultivated vegetable grown in the Marmara and Aegean regions. It is especially widely consumed in Japan and India.

Okra Seeds and Their Benefits

The tiny little balls found inside the okra vegetable are called okra seeds. These small-in-size but mighty-in-benefit seeds contain high levels of zinc and iron. In fact, they have been used in alternative medicine since ancient times. Let us answer the question of how to use the seeds right away :)  Place one water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) of okra seeds into a clean cloth and crush them well. Transfer the powdered seeds into a bowl, add 1.5 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and mix. After letting this mixture sit in the refrigerator overnight, consume one dessert spoon (about 2 tsp) every day until it is finished.
