Ingredients for Easy Flatbread Pizza
- 5 sheets lavaş (thin Turkish flatbread)
- 5 tablespoons ketchup
- 150 g (5 oz) shredded kaşar cheese (Turkish semi-hard cheese, similar to mild cheddar)
- 5 sausages
- 5 slices turkey salami
- 20 pitted black olives
- 5 tablespoons boiled corn kernels
How to Make Easy Flatbread Pizza
Pour some water into a wide round tray. Dip each lavaş sheet briefly in the water, one at a time — just a quick dunk, not a soak. Lay them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Squeeze about 1 tablespoon of ketchup onto each lavaş.

Use a pastry brush to spread the ketchup evenly across the entire surface. Repeat for all remaining lavaş sheets.

Scatter shredded kaşar cheese over each ketchup-covered lavaş. Divide the 150 g evenly into 5 portions so every pizza gets the same amount.
Slice 1 sausage into rounds and scatter over the cheese. Add 1 slice of turkey salami, cut into pieces. Slice 4 pitted black olives and add those too. Finish with 1 tablespoon of boiled corn kernels.

Repeat the toppings for all remaining lavaş pizzas.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) until golden and crisp at the edges.
Tips
When wetting the lavaş, don't let it sit in the water — dip and lift immediately. This keeps the base from drying out in the oven while still giving it a bit of flexibility.
Lavaş is thin and the edges catch fast. Place the tray on the middle rack, not the top, and keep an eye on it toward the end of baking.
Right out of the oven, a drizzle of olive oil or a few fresh basil leaves makes a real difference.
