İftar Menüsü

On Day 22, we're entering the final week of Ramadan. Thanks be to God, alhamdulillah! We've prepared a delicious iftar menu for you for the first day of the last week. We built this iftar menu around a wonderful braised dish perfect for artichoke season — Chicken with Artichokes. We open our fast beforehand with Tarhana Soup (tarhana çorbası) made with ground meat. We continue with Bulgur Pilaf with Barley Şehriye (arpa şehriyeli bulgur pilavı), specially chosen for the final week. And to complete this feast, we selected Şambaba — a syrup-soaked dessert that is a true Ottoman-era iftar classic. Enjoy!

IN SEASON

For the first day of the final week, we built our iftar menu around a wonderful braised dish that brings vegetables and meat together — and is even more delicious when artichokes are in season.

BETTER THAN PLAIN RICE PILAF

Alongside the chicken, we're serving one of the most flavorful iftar pilaf options — a delicious bulgur pilaf. If you haven't tried barley şehriye (Turkish orzo) with bulgur pilaf, this iftar is the perfect time!
