We had been eagerly awaiting the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr) — the night on which the Holy Quran began to be revealed by God to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel — ever since the holy month of Ramadan began. Praise be, that night has finally arrived! We offer our prayers and break our fast with Tomato Rice Soup. Among Ramadan dishes, a true crowd-pleasing dinner recipe: mouthwatering Eggplant Rolls with Köfte (Turkish Meatballs), served alongside an appetite-opening white bean salad (piyaz) with plenty of onions — so good you'll keep coming back for more. For iftar dessert, we fill up on a whole tray of Hazelnut Baklava on this blessed Night of Power. Praise be!
