Ingredients for Heart Cake (Kalp Kek)
- 15 strawberries
- 1 egg
- ½ water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) granulated sugar
- ½ water glass milk
- ½ tea glass (about 100 ml / 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp) vegetable oil
- 1½ water glasses flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 packet vanilla
- A tip of a teaspoon of red food coloring
How to Make Heart Cake (Kalp Kek)
In a bowl, beat 1 egg with half a water glass of granulated sugar. Add half a water glass of milk, half a tea glass of vegetable oil, 1½ water glasses of flour, 1 packet of baking powder, and 1 packet of vanilla, then beat together. Wash the 15 strawberries, blend them in a food processor, and add them to the mixture. Add a very small amount of red food coloring using just the tip of a teaspoon. Beat everything together, pour the batter into a greased heart-shaped cake pan, and bake in the oven at 190°C (375°F).
