Ingredients for Moist Chocolate Cake (Islak Kek)
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 water glasses (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp each) granulated sugar
- 1 packet margarine
- 1 water glass milk
- 1 packet vanilla
- 1.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2.5 water glasses flour
- 1 packet baking powder
How to Make Moist Chocolate Cake (Islak Kek)
In a bowl, beat 3 eggs with 1.5 water glasses of granulated sugar. Melt 1 packet of margarine and gradually add it to the bowl. Add 1 water glass of milk, 1 packet of vanilla, and 1.5 tablespoons of cocoa powder, then beat again. Set aside 1 water glass of this mixture. Add 2.5 water glasses of flour and 1 packet of baking powder to the remaining mixture, beat together, and pour into a cake pan. Bake in the oven at 190°C (375°F). Once removed from the oven, slice the cake and pour the reserved mixture over the top. Enjoy!
