Ingredients for Sheet Pan Cake (Tepsi Keki)

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) milk
  • 1.5 water glasses (about 300 ml / 1 1/4 cups) granulated sugar
  • 1 water glass (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) vegetable oil
  • Flour, as much as needed
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 2 dessert spoons (about 4 tsp) cocoa powder

How to Make Sheet Pan Cake (Tepsi Keki)

In a bowl, beat 4 eggs with 1.5 water glasses of granulated sugar. Add 1 water glass of milk, 1 water glass of vegetable oil, flour as needed, 1 packet of baking powder, and 1 packet of vanilla, then beat again. Pour half of this batter into a medium-sized greased round aluminum sheet pan. Add 2 dessert spoons of cocoa powder to the remaining half and beat again, then pour it over the batter already in the pan. Using a tablespoon, draw circular swirls on the surface to create a pattern. Bake in a 190°C (375°F) oven. Enjoy!

Pro Tip

Since this is a sheet pan cake, the batter needs to be slightly more liquid than a regular cake batter.
