About This Recipe

The pear is a white-flowering tree belonging to the rose family, and its fruit goes by the same name. This tree, which can grow comfortably in both hemispheres, can reach up to 14 meters (about 46 feet) in height. There are approximately 30 different varieties found across key regions in Asia, Europe, and Africa. Although it goes by different names from region to region, the flavor is always the same. Loved by all ages, its sweetness and juiciness are what make it so popular. Pears have a very high water content and are extremely beneficial for the body.
