Day 5 Iftar Menu
We know that coming up with an iftar menu gets harder as the days go by. Here is the Day 5 iftar menu to make things easier for you...

Coming up with an iftar menu really does get harder as the days go by. We kick off Day 5 of Ramadan with a traditional and classic soup — Yuvalama! After the soup, we continue with a hearty and delicious vegetable dish: Eggplant with Potatoes! It doesn't always have to be rice or pasta — especially when there's a wonderful broad bean salad for those who can't get enough of vegetables. We round off the meal with the broad bean salad and then move on to dessert. Since we've kept this iftar menu on the lighter side, we opted for a syrup-soaked sweet and are sharing a fantastic Revani recipe. Enjoy, and may your table be blessed...

A TRUE CLASSIC
Yuvalama soup, a specialty from the Gaziantep region, is an incredibly filling soup packed with köfte (Turkish meatballs), chickpeas, and meat. It's the perfect iftar dish — especially when served alongside vegetable dishes.

VEGETABLES — BUT STILL FILLING
We often make plain eggplant or plain potato dishes on their own. For the iftar table, why not try cooking both together? It makes for a much more satisfying meal.

JUST IN SEASON
We don't know of another salad that can be this healthy and this delicious at the same time! It's a recipe that will make you fall in love with broad beans all over again — this time as a salad!

SPEAKING OF SYRUP-SOAKED SWEETS!
Since we put together a light, vegetable-forward iftar menu, we figured we'd earned ourselves a syrup-soaked dessert — so we created a wonderfully fluffy sweet treat that brings together sugar syrup and semolina in perfect harmony.
FOR THE RECIPE: Revani (Semolina Cake in Syrup)

MAY YOUR TABLE BE FULL AND BLESSED...
