Ingredients for Spinach Cake
- 500 g (about 1 lb) spinach
- 4 eggs
- 1.5 water glasses (about 200 ml / 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp each) granulated sugar
- 1 water glass vegetable oil
- 1 water glass milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 packets vanilla
- 3 water glasses flour
How to Make Spinach Cake
Clean and chop 500 g (about 1 lb) of spinach, boil it in a pot, then rinse under cold water and drain. Squeeze out the excess water from the spinach and blend it in a food processor.
In a bowl, beat 4 eggs, 1.5 water glasses of granulated sugar, 1 water glass of vegetable oil, 1 water glass of milk, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 2 packets of vanilla, and 3 water glasses of flour together with a mixer. Add the blended spinach and mix again. Pour the batter into a rectangular baking pan. Bake in the oven at 200°C (390°F). Enjoy!
